I am Elizabeth Day, also known as Ellie.
I have been riding horses my entire life. I try to bring enthusiasm and momentum to all my students at Topiary farms. I have learned all types of disciplines when it comes to horses English, Jumping and Western. I grew up in England and started learning how to ride at a very young age. When I was 11 years old I moved to New York.
I found a local hunter jumper barn and started my jumping career. When I was 13, I started helping the owner by giving riding lessons, running events and summer camps. I have trained all levels of riding for over two decades. I have even entered the show ring and taught at the show ring.
Now that I am blessed with a child of my own, I really enjoy training beginners and intermediate riders as I can make a strong connection with them. I show my students everything they need to learn about horses and teach them how to feel safe and comfortable while also confident in their saddle. I would love to begin your horseback riding life at Topiary Farms.
Hi! My name is Ann Bonn and I am the beginner’s instructor at Topiary Farms. I have been riding horses for over 20 years. I fell in love with horses and animals at a very young age. I give lessons to first time young riders. My favorite part about giving lessons to kids is watching their big smiles when they trot for the first time! My students get so much more from my lessons than just learning how to become a better rider. I want my students to become a team with their horse and to learn how to be kind and compassionate to their horse. Horses have feelings, the students need to get to know their horse’s personality. Riding horses is so much more than just riding. It is also caring and providing a loving environment for the horse and rider so they can blossom into a great team. This sets them up for other things in life!
