Horseback Riding Summer Camps
Reserve your child’s place today in our Horseback Riding Camps! Designed for riders ages 5–14, our program blends fun, confidence-building, and hands-on equestrian learning in a supportive summer camp environment.
At our camp, we move at a thoughtful pace because we value the sport, the well-being of our horses, and the importance of building a strong, correct foundation for every rider. While some camps focus on fast thrills, introducing beginners to cantering or even jumping within a week, we prioritize safety, skill development, and responsible horsemanship.
Riders need time and consistent instruction to develop the balance and confidence required for these advanced skills. Taking the time to learn properly is not only safer for riders but also kinder to the horses, who rely on balanced, educated riders for their own comfort and welfare. Even so, our campers still enjoy exciting, confidence-building rides and leave each day proud of what they’ve learned and accomplished.
Along with developing a strong foundation in the saddle, we place great importance on teaching true horsemanship. Rather than having staff prepare the horses behind the scenes, our campers take part in the full experience.
From haltering and leading horses from their stalls to grooming, picking hooves, and learning how tack is properly fitted, campers gain hands-on knowledge and confidence around horses. We also believe being an equestrian includes responsibility beyond riding, so campers help with everyday barn tasks like sweeping, cleaning tack, and caring for equipment. These experiences help build respect for the horses and an understanding of what goes into their daily care. Campers may even get the chance to observe our farrier at or veterinarian at work, offering a unique behind-the-scenes look at how we keep our horses healthy and comfortable.
Camp runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., offering full days packed with riding, horse care, games, arts and crafts as well as other memorable farm experiences.
Registration fees for a week long (five days) of camp is $525. We also offer a single day camp for $115, and for families that have more than one child, we offer $25 sibling discount off the registration fee for family members living in the same household.
