Rosie is a striking, athletic Arabian mare with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She is not your average lesson horse — she’s a forward-thinking, performance-minded partner best suited for a confident rider who enjoys a responsive, energetic ride.

Temperament & Personality
Rosie is exceptionally sweet on the ground and easy to handle. She is not “mareish” and truly enjoys attention. She bonds quickly with her person and is especially fond of kids who know how to ride. She is eager to please and tries hard when introduced to new tasks. She has no buck, bolt, or rear behavior. She is respectful, intelligent, and thrives with consistent work.

Under Saddle
Rosie is forward and athletic — she has significantly more “go” than “whoa”, which makes her unsuitable for our lesson program. She is quick and responsive, making her a fun ride for a capable teen or small adult who enjoys a horse with energy and enthusiasm. She is not suited for beginner riders or very young children in large open spaces, as she prefers to stay moving once she gets going.
With regular, structured work, she shines. She would be well suited for:
-
Gymkhana with the right conditioning program
-
Jumping
-
A confident teen ready to step up
-
A petite adult rider wanting an athletic partner
She previously had exposure to trail-type riding and enjoys open spaces.

Care and Maintenance
Rosie is an easy keeper, and goes barefoot. As with many Arabians, saddle fit requires attention and proper fitting. UTD on shots
Ideal Home
Rosie is not the right fit for a beginner lesson program and is happiest with a rider who can provide consistent, purposeful work. She would thrive with:
-
A confident youth rider
-
A competitive-minded teen
-
A smaller adult who enjoys a forward, athletic mount
If you’re looking for a flashy, energetic partner with personality and heart, Rosie may be your next match.
